Explore from here
La Aurora occupies Calle Cascajal 2 and offers a particularly light-filled perspective on the building, with pale interiors, windows facing greenery and subtle changes of level that echo the hillside setting. Its visual connection with trees suits a way of exploring the Albaicin that pays attention to carmen houses, garden walls and planted spaces glimpsed between homes.
From San Miguel Bajo, a neighbourhood route can head to Plaza Larga through Arco de las Pesas. Rather than pursuing only the familiar Alhambra panorama, this walk focuses on residential fabric, small squares and the continuity of narrow streets preserved within the Albaicin’s medieval town plan.
Continue towards the Collegiate Church of San Salvador, built on the site of the Albaicin’s former main mosque, and then to Mirador de San Nicolas. Returning through the interior lanes reveals carmen walls, treetops and shifting fragments of the surrounding hills, making this a rewarding choice for an interest in domestic heritage and planted landscapes.
Another day can lead downhill via Caldereria Nueva, joining the Albaicin to Plaza Nueva and the centre. The hillside position invites exploration in stages, allowing each slope to open a new composition of rooftops, vegetation and small public spaces.

A great place to rest in Granada The place was very nice, very clean and tidy. There was no indication of the wifi, I had to ask, but it was solved without a problem. The coverage was complicated.
Highly recommended It was fully equipped and had a terrace where we could have breakfast with views of the Alhambra. It is also 1 minute from the Mirador de San Nicolás and all the beautiful things Granada has to offer. We couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi.
Closeness
Súper Bien La ubicacion era genial. En el centro del albaicin cerca de los miradres mas famosos. Muy buen rollo.
