Calle Horno San Agustin places the apartment in the upper Albaicin, within a compact walking area defined by San Nicolas Viewpoint, Plaza Larga and Arco de las Pesas. This is more precise than simply describing the property as being somewhere in the historic district: each of those landmarks is reached by a short, measured route.
San Nicolas Viewpoint is approximately 180 metres away on foot and provides the celebrated public panorama across to the Alhambra. Plaza Larga, about 170 metres from the property, is a useful reference point for everyday activity in the upper neighbourhood. Arco de las Pesas lies roughly 220 metres away; this surviving historic gateway also opens the way towards further streets on the upper hillside.
Because the three places are close together, visitors can build several short walks around them. A trip to the viewpoint can be repeated at different times of day, combined with Plaza Larga or extended beyond the arch without first travelling up from central Granada. The routes are brief, but they still follow the Albaicin’s sloping, irregular streets and historic paving.
